5 curiosities about the LED screen

When we think about investing in innovation, we cannot fail to analyze the positive points of the product we are going to use for this, right?

For this reason, we at LedWave have separated 5 curiosities about LED screens, which show some of the countless qualities of the product, which should make it a priority when making that important choice:

1 – The discovery of the LED screen:

At the beginning of the 20th century, in 1907, an Englishman named Henri Round discovered that the combination of some materials could generate luminosity through an electric current, a few years later a Russian physicist named Oleg Lossew studied Hernry’s discovery and developed it. So the years went by, technology advancing, until it arrived in the 90s, when the Japanese Shuji Nakamura created the blue LED, and from that the soft LED, and then the LED with the combination of 3 colors- base, the red, green and blue (combination currently called RGB). And then LED technology has not stopped developing.

2- Modernity and versatility:

With all the advancement and study on LED screens, we arrived at the idea of modules that come together and form large screens, which can adapt to any environment or situation that the customer needs, being able to enjoy the countless qualities offered by the product.

3- Sustainability:

In addition to the fact that LED screens use 80% less energy compared to any other form of luminous advertising, they are also 95% recyclable, as they do not contain heavy metals such as lead, that is, their disposal and reuse does not cause contamination. of the environment.

4 – Durability:

LED screens have several models for different applications. For example, the indoor option is indicated for closed environments, commonly used for advertisements and promotion of brands or relevant content for them; the outdoor screens, on the other hand, are indicated for open environments, as they are more resistant to climate and temperature changes than indoor panels. This means that regardless of the choice of application, LED screens have a different possibility suitable for the product to have a longer service life. On average, LED screens last around 100,000 to 158,000 hours, i.e. 11 to 18 years.

5 – Programming and technology:

The LED screens are easily coordinated, based on an innovative technology called management software that allows changing contents, and even controlling brightness and lighting, remotely or pre-programmed, using a cell phone.
